Survival Terms
This is a list of survival terms that I will be updating as I remember or come across them.
EDC - Every Day Carry (You may here this used like: I EDC my SOG Flash II knife)
FAK - First Aid Kit. (You may here this used like: I have three FAK’s one in my car one in my house and one on my peron.)
SAK - Swiss Army Knife. (The red knife with multi-tools.)
PSK - Pocket Survival Kit. (This is a tiny survival kit that fits in your pocket.)
BOB - Bug Out Bag. (This is a bag normally the size of a backpack or larger that is taken when you need to leave your “home” location. The bag normally contains a wide variety of items ranging from medicine to shelter, food and clothing. Some people even include weapons and ammo in their BOB.)
LED - Light-emitting diode. Normally these refer to flashlights that don’t use standard bulbs. (My new LED flashlight.)
GHB - Get Home Bag. A bag that has all required survival items to get yourself home.
